Item contains all the original parts that are manufacturer included for initial sole. While there is some minor degradation of the wind canceling foam microphone cover, there is an additional one included that is in good shape.
When I purchased this, I was told it had never been used, but I cannot guarantee that. It appears, if anything, to be very lightly used, if at all.
Battery took and retained a charge, and the unit seems to operate as described.
